Kendall Primary School

We were delighted to work with Kendall Church of England Primary School to refresh their identity. Attached to woodland and well-known for its outside learning provision and forest school, their existing and much-loved logo illustrated the link with nature and the church. These elements needed to be kept, but its appearance needed an update.

What we did

Kendall Church of England Primary School is fortunate to have woodland and a highly-regarded outside learning provision and forest school. The original and much-loved logo illustrated their link with nature and the church, but needed a refresh. We needed to preserve these elements, but bring the logo into the modern day. Our aim was to bring clarity to the logo and we did this by updating the illustration and type. We then made it work across a variety of applications, including school uniform, stationery and a website.

What the client said

We partnered with eyespeak to work on the rebranding of Kendall CE Primary School (particularly our website and new logo). It was a straightforward and easy process from beginning to end. They listened carefully to our aspirations for the new website and how we hoped to be viewed by those who would visit it to find out more about the school. Esther was also very sensitive to the redesign of the school logo, which had been much loved for many years but was in need of modernisation. They were able to talk through their initial thoughts and ideas and explain why they had made certain design decisions. This was always a two way process and we felt very involved during the initial client presentation and design ideas. The end product was a website and logo with a clean design that reflected the vision of our organisation and a professional looking website that improved the navigation and overall user experience.
